Par Jane's Haute Couture collection in S/S 2024 at Paris Fashion Week begins with the concept of Equestrianism.
Equestrianism is a cooperative art and sport in which horses and humans directly interact and move together.
I have learned Equestrianism since childhood, and the peaceful connection with nature that
I feel through close communication with horses has always been new and exciting.
The presence of a horse that ran with me when I wanted to run, stopped with me when I wanted to stop,
and took a breath together was somehow ingrained in my memory as a relaxed and optimistic creature.
I wanted to incorporate my favorite sport of Equestrianism and my affection for horses into my costume,
thus making Equestrianism the inspiration theme of this collection.
In the most important silhouette, it was applied as a design element inspired by the thick and soft curves of horses,
the mane of horses forming various shapes, oval horse heels, and the equipment for Equestrianism, such as saddle, bridle, and reins.
Furthermore, recognizing that the sense of balance, which maintains the center of the body, is crucial in Equestrianism,
the development process of flat and draped patterns has been conducted several times to achieve an overall balanced silhouette.
The main colors, inspired by white horses and black horses and symbolizing the collaboration between horses and humans,
were selected in black and white, along with nude tones and light pink, resembling human skin colors, beautifully fused with saturation and color.
Furthermore, to create a strong yet elegant horse silhouette, silk fabric was used to capture clear tones, tulle fabric was chosen for its soft touch,
and organza fabric was selected for its ability to enhance harmonious beauty depending on the degree of overlap between layers.

Designer Jane Hong of the brand 'Par Jane',
is a rising Korean fashion designer who was a recent graduate of Bunka Fashion University in Tokyo.
The brand 'Par Jane' contains designer Jane Hong's philosophy of 'Elegant silhouettes that emanate from within oneself' in French,
and is a brand that introduces an elegant design with relaxation while emphasizing sophisticated tailoring lines.
She personally develops delicate materials and three-dimensional patterns,
showcasing a new collection for each season that expresses artistic inspiration and stories from her surroundings through her garments.
